Good news from Brighton & Hove Council

15th Brighton Scout Group have had some good news from Brighton & Hove Council. The council have agreed to continue the full business rate relief for our hut for this year and next year.

This is a great piece of news in the current financial climate, helping to secure the future of Beavers, Cubs and Scouts in Manor Farm, Kemptown and Whitehawk. We'd like to thank Andy Hudson at BHCC for making sure we got the good news as soon as he was able, and also Sally Polanski from the Community and Voluntary Sector Forum and Councillor Warren Morgan for their help and support in our dealings with the council.
